We have a superbly equipped pavilion ideal for a wide range of social functions:

Parties, quizzes, family events, seminars and other meetings.

  • Well equipped kitchen with catering grade refrigeration, dishwashing, oven and hob
  • Fully stocked and staffed bar
  • Big screen TV

  • Pool table and darts

Maximum capacity is about 70 standing / buffet or about 50 or so seated at no more than 10 tables

Club rules for hiring

  1. The applicant must submit their application form in ample time to be considered by the General Committee, as far in advance of the date of their function as possible.
  2. Payment to be made to the Cricket Club in accordance with the scale of charges detailed.
  3. Applicants hiring the pavilion facilities or Cricket Green they must produce proof of their Public Liability insurance cover with their application.
  4. Footwear with spikes must not be worn when using the artificial wicket.
  5. Any damage/breakages sustained to the Club’s property during any event or function will be charged to the applicant.
  6. All facilities shall be left in a clean and tidy condition. The club reserves the right to recover costs for any extra cleaning needed.
  7. Public advertising of an event or function by an applicant is strictly prohibited by law and the application shall not be permitted to collect monies for entrance to the event/function.
  8. Applicants seeking the provision of a licensed bar must be in attendance at the function in order to sign in those attending.
  9. When a licensed bar is provided, the applicant is responsible for paying each member of the Bar Staff at their current hourly rate at the time of their event taking place. When more than 40 people are attending the event this will require the Club to recruit TWO bar staff.
  10. Bar facilities are subject to the conditions normally applying to licenses premises.
  11. Persons under age of 18 years shall not be allowed to purchase or to consume alcohol.
  12. Licensing regulations shall be strictly adhered to. NO extension to licensing hours will be sought. ALL drinks will be consumed within the time period allowed after closing.
  13. No alcohol purchased outside the Club is to be brought onto Club premises. In the event of a dinner or similar function, alcohol may be permitted to be purchased outside at the General Committee’s discretion and a corkage charge set by the Club’s Bar sub-committee will be made.
  14. The General Committee shall be the sole authority for the interpretation of these conditions of use and their decision shall be final.
  15. The Club collects data from its members for the purposes of running the Club and the provision of information about activities of the Club. This data will only be used for these purposes and will not be made available for any outside organisation without the prior approval of its Members. The Club will take all suitable practical precautions to protect this data.
